A little weird.
Okay, very weird.
But whatever you think about me, one thing is absolutely crystal clear: my passion for creative writing and helping others get the best from their writing—in their own voice—as they possibly can.
I understand what it’s like to be a writer. To feel vulnerable and protective about handing over your beloved work to somebody else just to have red marks scribbled across it, showing you everywhere that you got wrong.
But proofreading and copy-editing doesn’t have to be like that. It can be a journey that both author and editor embark on together. To create a reader-ready story in the voice of the actual author, not the voice of various rounds of editing. If a particular grammar rule isn’t used but the story benefits from it? All the better! It’s about telling the story in your way without losing the reader among the pages. And that’s what I’m here to help you do.
I’m not that scary. Even with the stink eye in the picture……
